Uncertainty Can Be a Good Thing

As a Tarot Reader and Astrologer, I have the privilege and ability to be able to divine future events. I have no qualms about doing it for others, but when it comes to my own life, there are times when uncertainty can be a good thing. I’m sure other Tarot Readers and Divination Specialists can relate to what I am talking about. There are plans, goals, wishes, and objectives that you want to see through to the very end without having knowledge of the outcome. For instance, I applied for a small business loan this week and now I am waiting to hear back from the finance company to see if my application is approved. I have a vague idea of when I will hear back from my loan representative, but I am not really sure how this will all pan out. Now I can easily consult the cards, but in this case I’d rather remain ignorant of what’s to come. Why spoil all the fun by knowing in advance? Well, actually to find out that I was not approved would not be any fun at all, but even with that, I’d rather know later than sooner.

I must admit that this period of uncertainty that I am traversing is creating some anxiety within me, but still not enough for me to reach for those cards. I do have a little peace of mind in that I can see what is coming down the pike for me astrologically by looking at my transits and progressions. That’s all I need to know for now.

I also, believe that the Universe has a system of checks and balances set up when it comes to doing divination on the self. One cannot possibly know every aspect of his or her future and I don’t believe that it’s meant for us to know. If complete foreknowledge of every life situation were a possibility, the playing field would be severely imbalanced giving some of us god-like powers. I mean, if you were able to know every detail of your future, why bother even getting out of bed every morning? Some of the future may be revealed to those who practice divination prior to its manifestation, but a large portion of it will remain largely unknown so that we may learn the lessons necessary for our spiritual evolution. What is a test if you already have access to the answer key? What is the purpose of faith when you are already aware of what’s to come?

Some things are just better left unknown until their manifestation in the material world. I’m patiently waiting despite having an arsenal of divinatory tools at my disposal.
